Santa, Rudolph light up the holidays at Lufkin Mall
 
LUFKIN, TX ---- A rousing 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 count down will herald the arrival of Santa Claus and the official lighting of Rudolph the Red Nosed Pumping Unit at Lufkin Mall at 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20. 
          The flurry of festivities, including the Lighting of Rudolph and refreshments with Santa, will take place in the mall’s front parking lot near IHOP and Loop 287.
          After ushering in the start of the holiday season with the official lighting, Santa will welcome children age 11 and under to join him for milk and cookies, courtesy of Great American Cookies and Foremost Dairies, while supplies last.
          Santa will then make his way to his Winter Wonderland residence located in front of Sears inside the shopping center.  Children are invited to visit the jolly man and reveal their holiday wish list.
          While visiting Santa is free, state-of-the-art digital photography packages will be available so that the precious moments are saved forever.  Parents will be able to view the photos immediately and several different photography packages will be available to fill the needs of family and friends for the holidays.

          Lufkin Mall holiday hours begin Friday, Nov. 26 when the mall is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
